The Ban on Play<\/a> went deeper than we expected. \u00a0After the rally<\/a> in the city, in which the 3 guilds put aside their differences for the greater good, our systems were shut-down. \u00a0We were disconnected from the essential network and left to rot in the dark. \u00a0We have re-established a rudimentary network, trying to gather the data that we need through it, but the bandwidth is nothing compared to what we had before. \u00a0We are…reduced.<\/p>\n

But the work goes on.<\/p>\n

The next phase is The Game<\/a>, and we have found a way to run the program through it. \u00a0The ideograms situated around the city blocks are part of that program. \u00a0The order in which they direct the flow of traffic and behaviour, the speed and order in which they are retrieved, the circuits that you create, are all part of it.<\/p>\n

This is only the first stage though.<\/p>\n

Beyond this, if we are successful, we have other programs that we need to run across the city, other systems we need to embed within its roads and buildings , other tasks to complete.<\/p>\n

And beyond that, if we are successful, we will bear witness to something…that takes us away from our reduced state, transporting us all to somewhere new.<\/p>\n
