The MasterCodemaker is not present today.\u00a0\u00a0 I shall read from a prepared statement channeled from background radiation in the atmosphere.\u00a0 This radiation is a communications vector that has been used by codemakers since ancient times.\u00a0 It is known in the third language of Ludea as the Lanes Alp Tar.<\/p>\n

The MasterCodemaker recognizes the importance of solidarity among the codemaking guilds at this critical time; a time when the authorities have seen fit to shut down play on its streets.\u00a0 The guilds must at least be seen<\/em> to be united in protest.\u00a0 They must let the authorities be in no doubt that play is not an option<\/em> or a choice<\/em>.\u00a0 It is the generative force of all organisms, ecosystems and the built environment; it is the \u00e9lan vital, or what we call in Ludean the Navel Tali.<\/p>\n

But this unity is for the MasterCodemaker a compromise.\u00a0 And it is for this reason that he has chosen to be present by proxy.\u00a0 The MasterCodemaker can only go so far in publicly acknowledging his association with the other guild masters.\u00a0 He can not abide, nay will not countenance the illusion that all is well among the guilds.\u00a0 The MasterCodemaker has made a number of announcements concerning a conspiracy among the guilds to re-write history, to forge a general amnesia in the population of Melbourne.<\/p>\n

The MasterCodemaker can reveal today that the current invitation to the good people of Melbourne to rezone the city through play is a ruse, a conceit to conceal the ancient crime that shames the history of the micro-nation of Ludea; a crime of theft, of plagiarism and miscreant attribution.<\/p>\n

But the MasterCodemaker also recognizes this current crisis in play as a force for reconciliation.\u00a0 But not reconciliation among the guilds, but the reconciliation of history, the proper acknowledgment of the One, true designer of the city of Melbourne.\u00a0 As the MasterCodemaker has repeatedly warned in recent posts, an insidious act of plagiarism took place more than 170 years ago, as the Ludean world planners initiated their design for the algorithm that would activate the program responsible for the growth of Melbourne.\u00a0 This algorithm is known in Ludean as the Gelded Third Ho.\u00a0 The famous and much documented rivalry between Melbourne\u2019s two Ludean surveyors, Bold Herder T\u00f6 and Rebus Stroller, was never resolved at the time and it continues to this day to be controversial.<\/p>\n
